Birkman method
Grounded in inclusion and positive psychology, the Birkman Method assessment is designed to to gauge your preferences, behaviours, interests and stress responses.
Developed by Dr. Roger W. Birkman in the 1950s, it continues to be widely used in organisational development, career counselling, team building, and leadership development.
The Birkman Method assessment captures various aspects of personality, including usual behaviour (how an individual typically behaves), under stress behaviour (how an individual behaves under pressure), interests (what activities or tasks individuals are drawn to), and organizational needs (what work environment individuals find most conducive).
The Birkman Method works in conjunction with coaching to improve a person’s understanding of their strengths and behaviours, how they respond under stress and what this means in the workplace context.
